"You cannot travel the path until you have become the path itself."
~The Buddha
Welcome to Buddhist Travelers!
Our group is a multicultural community where we create friendships and share common experiences related to Buddhist philosophy and how it affects our everyday lives. Buddhism is about growth and we encourage our members to respectfully post and debate issues of interest relating to Buddhist studies, current events, politics, science, social issues, the arts and other topics.
All sects are welcome. Non-practicing Buddhists and other religious denominations interested in learning about the Buddha-dharma are also welcome. If you are a newcomer to Buddhism and interested in learning about Buddhist teachings, please check our chat room schedule on the home page and one of our members will be happy to answer your questions. Also, feel free to ask questions or check the links, blogs, reviews and videos at this site for more information.
Namaste!

Group Guidelines:
Be helpful, friendly and supportive in every post you write. Discussion and debate are encouraged and you should expect replies to posts and comments as a contributing member of our group.
Whenever possible post where a quote has come from. This enables others to reference, comment in a fuller manner, and add input which they may have missed from the text. Penalties for plagiarism will be determined by the administration team.
Act with respect and appreciation of all. No harsh speech, name calling, racial slurs, maligning others or traditions, baiting, gossiping, misrepresenting others views or belittling. Look within before reacting or responding to other members words.
Cut and paste, proselytizing posts from other religious denominations will be treated as spam and automatically deleted.
Much Metta!
